AJ

I did a photo shoot with my bestie!!! Amanda!! She's a beautiful girl and wanted some photos for her hubby. She's also a little crazy (good, funny crazy not rabbit-in-the-stew crazy) and loves horror movies. She wanted a bloody horror film recreation. Those photos are between friends, but I will share the PG13 version! This shoot was the most fun and I can't wait to do some creepy halloween style pics with her!

Erica

Here are some photos I took of Erica. A beautiful model and a super fun shoot!

40's Pinup Nastalgia

My lovely stepdaughter Jasmine makes a perfect model on the weekends when I just want to play around with photos. Her mother and I have an awesome relationship and were talking about nostalgic pinup photos from olden days (and one of my favorite pinup models, Bettie Page). Eden (Jazzy's mom) was telling me that she wanted to do a vintage style shoot if she could find someone to style her hair in pinup fashion. I spent the evening watching hair tutorials that taught pincurls and the faux Bettie bangs and quickly got to work using Jazzy as my guinea pig. Seeing as how shes 10, I obviously didn't want to pose her like Bettie Page (Uncle Grady would probably be knocking on my door ). I chose instead to re-enact the classic Rosie the Riveter image with the flexed arm (remember "You Can Do It"?). I put my own spin on the image of course. With the promise of temporary tattoos and a hammer as a prop, I managed to coax Jazzy into letting me play with her hair and put lipstick on her. Eden and Doug (Jasmine's dad) LOVED the results! I also love these photos and they have earned a framed spot on the wall in our house. Jazzy had fun too.

Rustic Engagement Shoot

I recently did a photo shoot for an engaged couple, Amy and Todd. Amy told me that she wanted something rustic and did not want to shoot at Hollis Gardens! (That seems to be where everybody goes for pictures). I gave her rustic! The photos were shot at the Schalamar Creek Stables in Auburndale. My family boards several horses there and I was able to saddle up one of the horses for some fantastic shots. The funny part was every time I gave Amy or Todd instructions to look towards me, Fancy the horse looked too. Fancy seemed to be an old pro at picture takin'.
.....I'm not quite sure why the following pictures are turned. I'll figure it out later.

Sara and Brad's McKay Gardens Wedding

I was fortunate to have the opportunity to photograph my friend's wedding. I have worked with Brad (er Lt. Coleman for a long time). He recently married Sara who is super sweet and kind-hearted. They had a beautiful, small ceremony at McKay Gardens in Lake Alfred, FL. The grounds of the lakefront home are stunning. You turn down a winding driveway and find yourself in front of an old brick home tucked into a blanket of giant oak trees and Spanish moss. Brad and Sara fell in love with the grounds and chose to share their vows in front of family and friends in the backyard of the home. Sara wore a gorgeous white strapless wedding dress with red embroidery. She carried red and white daisies as her flowers. Here are some of the photos from their special day....

Caught at just the right time. The bride's mother began tearing up after fastening her daughter's jewelry.
